Job Title:

Visual Arts Support Specialist

About the Role:

In this fulfilling position, you will be supporting students in a positive attitude, both in the school and wider audiences. As a member of the Visual Arts team, you will play a crucial role in the development of individuals into ambitious, highly successful, happy and resilient young adults.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining teaching resources in good order to ensure seamless lesson delivery.
  • Liaising with staff to guarantee successful lessons and examinations.
  • Ensuring machinery and equipment are well-maintained.
  • Managing display areas and controlling stock of departmental materials.
  • Supporting teachers in art and design, running workshops, and planning exhibitions.
  • Collaborating with the team and adhering to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A strong educational background, particularly in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience working with cutting machinery and equipment.
  • First Aid training or readiness to undertake emergency first aid training.
  • An enthusiasm for education and secondary school systems.
  • A genuine passion for ART and Graphics Design.
  • Proficient IT skills.
Salary Estimate:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
