Job Description:

We seek an experienced Art and Design Technician Leader to join our Visual Arts team. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in developing their artistic talents and contribute to the school's mission to create ambitious, highly successful, happy and resilient young adults.

Main Duties:
  1. Preparing for lessons and maintaining high standards of teaching resources.
  2. Liaising with staff to ensure successful lesson delivery and examination preparation.
  3. Overseeing the maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  4. Coordinating display areas and managing stock of departmental materials.
  5. Supporting teachers in delivering art and design curriculum, including running workshops and planning exhibitions.
  6. Working collaboratively with the team and adhering to school policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
  • English and Maths qualifications.
  • Relevant experience working with cutting machinery and equipment.
  • First Aid training or readiness to undertake emergency first aid training.
  • A passion for education and secondary school systems.
  • Proficient IT skills.
Salary Range:

£28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
