Head Chef - AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Chef to lead our culinary team at the AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a creative approach to menu development, and excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our brand's culinary standards
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve exceptional results
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, with any other language an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ordering platforms
