Job Summary

This role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Corporate Actions delivery at Equiniti. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that procedures are followed within an ISO 9001 framework, regulations are adhered to, risks are assessed and mitigated, and tasks meet required Service and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Task Specialists to ensure procedures are followed and tasks meet required standards.
  • Assess and develop new procedures or variations as needed, and ensure they are documented and implemented.
  • Perform parts of the Corporate Actions process, particularly linked to governance, and identify and resolve issues.
  • Organize and deliver training to less experienced team members, and provide feedback for use in Performance Development Reviews and Skills assessments.
  • Work autonomously and/or in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other teams as required, and cover for the Technical Manager during periods of absence.
  • Identify and deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives, and support Management Information and Corporate Actions queries.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain Corporate Action product and Stock Market expectations knowledge.
  • Embrace procedures and the ISO mindset to ensure consistency and audit adherence.
  • Develop and maintain good PC skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Governance driven to ensure appropriate processes are followed, authorities obtained, and risks mitigated.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Professionalism, Integrity, and Empathy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy; self-checking.
