This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the delivery of Corporate Actions. While Corporate Action tasks can be straightforward, they often involve unique or technical complexities that require adept management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Task Specialists in adhering to procedures within an ISO 9001 framework, ensuring compliance with regulations, assessing and mitigating risks, and meeting required Service and Quality Standards.
  • Evaluate whether the unique nature of a task necessitates the development of new procedures or modifications, ensuring proper documentation and implementation.
  • Engage primarily in the Corporate Actions process, particularly governance-related tasks such as verification and authorization during active delivery, while identifying and resolving issues.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions for less experienced team members as needed, providing constructive feedback to Task Specialists' line management for performance reviews and skills assessments.
  • Work independently or collaboratively with the Technical Manager and other teams as necessary, and provide coverage for the Technical Manager during absences.
  • Operate with moderate to minimal guidance, recognizing when to escalate issues.
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives, support Management Information, assist with Corporate Actions inquiries, and lead related development projects.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Corporate Action products and Stock Market expectations.
  • Adhere to procedures and embrace the ISO mindset to ensure consistency and compliance with audits.
  • Possess strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Governance-focused, ensuring appropriate processes are followed, authorities are obtained, and risks are mitigated.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and empathy in all interactions.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy through self-checking.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
