Location: Chorley (PR7)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with a child in KS1 who has suspected Autism (ASC). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively managing challenging behaviour and a minimum Level 2 qualification in a related subject.
Responsibilities:
- Support a child in KS1 with suspected Autism (ASC)
- Manage and de-escalate the child's outbursts
- Work closely alongside the Class Teacher and SENCo to identify triggers and establish strategies for managing behaviour
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a related subject
- Proven track record of effectively managing challenging behaviour
- Child only Workforce DBS certificate registered on the online update service
