About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex behavioural needs, assist in developing and implementing behaviour support plans, and work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex behavioural needs.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to student wellbeing.
  • Utilize sport and physical activities as a tool for engagement, relationship-building, and development of positive behaviours.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an SEMH or similar environment (secondary school experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of complex behaviours and behaviour management strategies.
  • A passion for sport and the ability to engage students through physical activity.
  • Patience, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • A desire for a long-term role with the potential for permanent employment.
