Event Operations Specialist

Wood Mackenzie Limited is seeking a highly skilled Conference and Event Specialist to join our Global Event Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing event logistics, managing event budgets, and delivering exceptional events that drive business results.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global provider of data and analytics solutions for the renewables, energy, and natural resources sectors. As a Conference and Event Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Managing event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment
- Coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
- Collaborating with the Marketing Team to develop event strategies and messaging
- Providing data-driven insights to inform event decisions and drive business growth
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and project management skills. As a Conference and Event Specialist, you will have:
- Experience in event logistics, project management, and budgeting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in event management software, such as CVENT or Salesforce
