CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are currently recruiting a Global Workplace Solutions Director to join our team in London.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have managerial experience at Contract Manager or above within technical and/or TFM experience, with a strong track record of delivering financial and operational commitments.

About the Role:

This role involves providing leadership, management, and development of a defined contract, ensuring that financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded. Key responsibilities include managing hard and soft services, reporting monthly on overall deliverables and performance, and ensuring opportunities for strategic development of the contract are exploited.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers, postroom staff, workplace coordinators, and outsourced cleaning, security, reception, etc.
  • Develop and implement effective business communication strategies, including advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and other publications.
  • Work closely with other Operational managers to ensure collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.
  • Develop and implement effective succession planning arrangements, ensuring that post holders are competent and effective.
  • Ensure healthy and safe working conditions and implement client and Company health and safety policies effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, advice, coaching, and direct support to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a career showing continuous personal development, with managerial experience at Contract Manager or above within technical and/or TFM experience. You should also be able to demonstrate effective people management practices and be able to travel occasionally to support operational delivery and participate in training and business review.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
