We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Long-term Ventilation team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide specialist clinical psychology services for children and young people with long-term ventilation needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical psychology services to children and young people with long-term ventilation needs, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with long-term ventilation needs
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic and treatment recommendations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
- Completed (or due to complete in 2024) post-graduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024)
- Experience of working with children or adults with physical health problems, or with children or adults with mental health problems
- Experience of exercising clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision
