Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Renal Service

About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Paediatric Renal Service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people with renal conditions.
Main Responsibilities
The main duties of the role will involve working with children and young people through consultation, direct work, and attending multidisciplinary clinics. The base will predominantly be at the Children's Hospital QMC campus. The successful candidate will be part of a welcoming and growing Clinical Psychology Department which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Child and Adult Neuropsychology.
Requirements
- Completed (or due to complete in 2024) postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024)
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice
- Previous training in medical psychology
- Training in the supervision of other psychological professionals
