Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Long-term Ventilation Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Long-term Ventilation team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide specialist clinical psychology services for children and young people with long-term ventilation needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with children and young people through consultation, direct work, and attending multidisciplinary clinics.
- Develop and use complex multi-media materials for presentations in public, professional, and academic settings.
- Provide consultation, training, and supervision as required to others within and outside the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Completed (or due to complete in 2024) post-graduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS.
- Current HCPC registration for Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to qualify for registration in 2024).
- Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the BPS/HCPC.
What We Offer
Opportunities for continued professional development and clinical supervision are well provided for within the paediatric clinical psychology team. We regularly have trainees from the DClinPsy courses around the region, so there would be opportunities to supervise trainees. Strong support is available to participate in research or to develop your clinical research interests.
