Job Summary

Venn Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks, workforce development, and learning reviews across the Youth Service and Youth Justice Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance Framework Development: Design and implement a new quality assurance framework that ensures the highest standards of service delivery for children and young people.
  2. Workforce Development: Develop and embed a quality assurance framework that incorporates universal, detached, participation, sports, targeted youth support, and youth justice.
  3. Child-Centered Quality Assurance: Develop and implement a new child-centered quality assurance framework and related activities to ensure the quality of youth work delivery is consistently good across all deliverables.
  4. Audit Tools and Toolkits: Develop and implement comprehensive audit tools informed by the National Youth Agency, as well as toolkits for youth work practitioners to use as part of their day-to-day practice.
  5. Process Review and Alignment: Review pathways and processes to ensure there is alignment to provide consistency in youth work practice.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience in Youth Service Setting: Successful and demonstrable experience of working within the Youth Service setting within Local Authorities.
  2. Quality Assurance Framework Expertise: Knowledge of creating, implementing, and delivering a quality assurance framework.
  3. DBS Check: Requires a DBS check.
