Overview: The Senior Practice Development Lead will oversee initiatives related to quality assurance, workforce enhancement, and evaluative reviews within the Youth Service and Youth Justice Service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of service provision for young individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive quality assurance framework.
  • Develop, integrate, and assess a quality assurance model that encompasses universal services, outreach, engagement, targeted support, and youth justice.
  • Create and enforce a child-centered quality assurance framework, ensuring consistent excellence in youth service delivery.
  • Formulate and implement detailed audit tools based on guidelines from the National Youth Agency, alongside practical toolkits for youth work professionals.
  • Evaluate existing pathways and processes to ensure cohesive and consistent youth work practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Youth Service environment within local government.
  • Expertise in developing and executing quality assurance frameworks.
  • Must possess a valid DBS check.
