Residential Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Home in Grantham. As a key member of the team, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home, while providing high-quality care to the children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager: Assist with daily operations, administrative tasks, and supervising staff to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate records for each child, ensuring compliance with care plans and regulations.
- Mentorship and Training: Supervise and mentor residential support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and success.
- Care and Support: Provide direct care and support to children, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
- Safeguarding: Respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
- Training and Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- A good general standard of education; willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Children's & Young People's Workforce or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience in childcare or residential settings (at least one year).
- A valid manual driving license is essential for transporting young people.
- Commitment to working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
