Job Description

Care Manager for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are recruiting a qualified and experienced Service Manager to lead our residential and supported living service in the Midlands region.

This service provides care and support for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Physical Disabilities, aiming to enable service users to live as independently as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care standards, leading a team of staff, and collaborating with external partners to achieve excellent outcomes.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with external partners to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the service by promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field.
  • Registration with relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC).
  • Experience in managing a team and leading service improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities.
