Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at South Staffordshire College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to students with learning differences and disabilities.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively with students, staff, and other stakeholders to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Previous experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults with learning differences and disabilities will be an advantage.

About the Role:

The Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with learning differences and disabilities. This will include assisting with lessons, providing emotional support, and helping students to develop independence skills. The successful candidate will also be required to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support services to ensure that students receive the best possible support.

Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults with learning differences and disabilities will be an advantage.
