Clinical Training Facilitator

This role provides professional leadership, expertise, advice, and support to:
- Support employers and training hubs in the ICSs to develop their local pharmacy technician workstreams.
- Act as the point of contact for pharmacy technician enquiries.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to identify key steps to embed and expand multi-sector training and post-registration posts.
- Develop supervision capability and capacity and the multi-professional quality framework.
- Identify and support pharmacist trainees requiring further support during their foundation training period.
- Contribute to the availability of high-quality training and support for pharmacy technician trainees and educational supervisors.
- Develop regional networks to provide peer support for employers and placement providers.
- Promote the Pharmacy Technician Pre-registration Trainee (PTPT) Integrated Training Scheme with stakeholders in the ICSs.
- Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives in pharmacy education.
- Understand how the activities and objectives of the department align with the wider business planning for NHS England, in particular to WTE East of England and nominated ICS(s).
