Job Title: Clinical Skills Training Lead

We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered clinical professional who is passionate about the development of others and has an interest in the design and delivery of mental health clinical skills training.

The successful candidate will have experience with clinical risk assessment in mental health services, be able to support the workforce in achieving proficiencies in practice, and demonstrate the ability to engage, support, motivate and lead others to deliver high-quality care.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.

  • Main duties:
  • Lead on provision of comprehensive competency-based programmes of multi-disciplinary staff development relating to essential clinical risk skills in a specialist mental health context.
  • Design, plan, deliver and quality assure training.
  • Review implementation and effectiveness of development programmes.
  • Promote meaningful staff engagement in work-based learning opportunities.
  • Analyse training needs and quality assurance measures for competency-based blended learning programmes.
  • Provide managerial and clinical leadership in area of responsibility.
