Training and Development Manager

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health clinician to join our Mandatory and Essential Skills Training team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a great chance for a registered clinical professional who is passionate about developing others and has an interest in designing and delivering mental health clinical skills training.

The successful candidate will have experience with clinical risk assessment in mental health services, be able to support the workforce in achieving proficiency in practice, and demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide clinically effective, holistic, evidence-based training.
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with HR colleagues, CPFT managers, CPFT staff, Professional Leads, partner universities, Local Authorities and Health Education East of England to deliver an integrated multi-disciplinary education offering and collaborative learning.
  • Represent the Trust in local and national network events.
  • Maintain an overview of current system-wide service delivery, workforce needs and training provision.
  • Identify and address specific identified learning or clinical needs.
