About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Advisor to join our team at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAMB). As a Health Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for patients calling our 111 service, providing vital support and guidance to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic and effective communication to patients, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Use the NHS Pathways system to assess and respond to a wide range of situations, from minor illnesses to life-threatening emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to provide ongoing support and guidance.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674, with the potential to earn up to £28,000 per annum.
  • Unsocial hours enhancements, providing a shift bonus for working evenings, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications) at Grade C or above (2018 Grade 4).
  • Previous experience working with the public and communicating effectively.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently, with strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature.

Training and Development
