The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the school curriculum and be able to assess and monitor students' progress throughout the academic year.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a positive ethos within the year group, promoting effective learning and high expectations.
  • Support students with challenging behaviour, using class control and behaviour management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, discussing sensitive topics as needed.
  • Encourage and motivate students' learning, understanding their emotional, social, and academic needs.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working in KS3 and KS4.
  • Enhanced DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work with students with challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
