**Pastoral Lead / Head of Year Opportunity**
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Pastoral Lead / Head of Year for our partnered secondary school in Birmingham.
As a Pastoral Lead / Head of Year, you will be supporting students who require additional support for their overall development, including academically, socially, and emotionally. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive ethos within the year group that encourages students to have high expectations of themselves and others, and promotes effective learning.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the development of students who require additional support for their overall development.
- Develop and maintain a positive ethos within the year group that encourages students to have high expectations of themselves and others.
- Assess and monitor students' progress across the academic year.
- Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
**Requirements:**
- Enhanced DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Willingness to work with students with challenging behaviour.
