Role Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), English as an Additional Language (EAL), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Support pupils with varied learning needs, helping to remove barriers to their progress.
  • Assist in delivering tailored interventions for students with SEN, EAL, SEMH, and more.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt resources and strategies to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities

The role involves working with students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 in small groups or one-to-one settings. The successful candidate will help students build confidence, improve their academic performance, and develop essential life skills.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in any subject and a strong interest in working with students who face additional learning challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive approach to supporting pupils.
