About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. As a key member of our Relationship Management team, you will be responsible for managing a book of clients, driving the development of new business, and maintaining existing revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and implement client account plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and operations teams, to deliver exceptional client service and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments, applying this knowledge to inform client relationships and business development strategies.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Pricing Team to analyze profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, preferences, and pain points, using this insight to inform business development and relationship management strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in relationship management, client services, or account management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of custody, capital markets, hedge, and private market investments, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Relevant local or regional licenses or certifications, as required by the business.
