Primary School Teaching Assistant Role

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and empathetic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have autism and learning difficulties in a primary school setting, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  1. Offer one-to-one support to children, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting children's learning.
  3. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and well-being.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification (1:1 or 2:1) from a reputable UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND or autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
