Job Summary:

Arguile Search is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the commercial negotiation of new business with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Identify the risks, liabilities, and commitments of contractual agreements; ensure these are clearly understood and that the business fully appreciates any potential impact.
  • Contract Review and Drafting: Review, draft, update, and maintain contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Commercial Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report performance and compliance against contractual obligations, including commercial performance, financial management, and contract management.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer satisfaction and work with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report on progress of change requests and projects, and review contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk.
  • Dispute Resolution: Prevent and resolve contractual disputes, and assure adherence to Group Commercial Policy.
  • Client Engagement: Support the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit, and cash budget, and overall management of the Client relationship.

Requirements:

  • Pre-Contract Signature Experience: Experience of working in a pre-contract signature environment.
  • Collaboration: Experience of working closely with finance, operations, and technical specialists.
  • Sector Experience: Sector experience is not essential.
  • Negotiation Skills: Experience of negotiation with customers.
  • Commercial Acumen: Good understanding of both the legal and financial aspects of contracts.
