Commercial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Officer to join our team at the Crown Commercial Service. As a key member of our Commercial Directorate, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our commercial frameworks, providing fuel and water products and services to public sector customers.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-end management of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Monitoring supplier performance against relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and creating supplier action plans to identify cost reduction and value-added services opportunities.
- Developing relationships and collaborating with customers and colleagues to ensure the delivery of an exceptional service.
- Collating, reviewing, and critically evaluating data to assist the effective management of commercial agreements and identify emerging risks/issues and opportunities for growth.
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver growth, attract new customers, drive customer retention, and provide enhanced value for money.
- Producing marketing materials, such as case studies, newsletters, presentations, and webinars, to promote our commercial agreements and services.
- Supporting the development and implementation of strategies aligned to assist the ongoing growth of the framework.
- Developing all necessary documentation in readiness to go to market for new/renewed commercial agreements, including PINs, OJEU notices, specifications, and pricing models.
- Following processes and procedures to deliver robust supplier relationship and performance management, providing recommendations for improvements in processes and implementing solutions to the benefit of the category.
- Highly knowledgeable in managing commercial agreements and supplier performance.
- Aptitude to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within a commercial environment.
- High degree of expertise in the collation, management, analysis, and presentation of information/data.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload and work at a pace to meet deadlines, well-organized, able to work alone as well as part of a team.
