About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. The role involves working as a member of a flexible team, ensuring all out-patient reception areas are manned at all times.

Main Duties:
  • Welcoming patients, carers, relatives, and visitors into the hospital by acting as the first point of contact for patients attending the Trust.
  • Validation of patients' key demographics and information, accurate recording of the appointment outcome, and making return appointments as directed by clinicians.
  • Supporting the reception supervisor in identifying patients who are not ordinarily resident in the UK and payment of patient travel expenses.
Essential Skills:
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent experience
  • ECDL or equivalent
Work Environment:

This role is based within the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, with occasional flexibility to work at other sites as required.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between £24,071 and £25,674, dependent on experience.
