Research Nursing Coordinator Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials and other research studies across various clinical specialties.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, with experience of initiating or involvement in clinical research studies. They will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and research staff.
The role requires the candidate to work independently, with minimal supervision, to manage research studies and coordinate activities associated with the management of research infrastructure.
The successful candidate will also be expected to provide training and support to research staff, patients, volunteers, and relatives as appropriate.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinating research studies, managing research infrastructure, and ensuring smooth running of research activities.
- Providing training and support to research staff, patients, volunteers, and relatives as appropriate.
- Collaborating with local clinicians, clinical research teams, and R&D Manager to develop and maintain research infrastructure.
The role is able to meet the requirements for registration with professional bodies for nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals.
