Technical Business Analyst, Finance

A leading London Market Specialty Insurer is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their Finance Transformation Programme on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in the specialty insurance market and experience working closely with finance teams, ideally previously being part of a finance transformation.

The role is permanent, offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000 + benefits and requires 3 days a week working from the company's London office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the changing needs of the finance team and communicate requirements to various departments.
  • Develop proposals and business cases for finance technology initiatives, translating needs into solutions to achieve organizational goals.
  • Document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to develop a change management/training plan.
  • Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on a Finance Transformation Programme, preferably in the Lloyd's/London Market specialty insurance.
  • Proven track-record in delivering complex finance-oriented technology implementation projects across vendor system implementation, integration, and custom build solutions.
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate scope and finances.
  • Strong relationship management skills across all levels of the business.
