Job Title: Technical Finance Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Finance Business Analyst to join our team at Pioneer Search. The successful candidate will play a key role in our Finance Transformation Programme, working closely with the finance team to understand and assess the changing needs within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and assessing the changing needs of the finance team and conveying requirements to different departments
  • Developing proposals and business cases for finance technology initiatives by translating needs into solutions to help the organization achieve its goals
  • Documenting system scenarios and identifying roles impacted to develop a change management/training plan
  • Reviewing, maintaining, and suggesting modifications to current procedures and processes

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on Finance Transformation Programmes, ideally in the Lloyd's/London specialty insurance sector
  • Proven track-record in delivering complex finance-oriented technology implementation projects across vendor system implementation, integration, and custom build solutions
  • Knowledge of finance systems, finance function, accounting concepts, and principles
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate scope and finances
  • Strong relationship management skills across all levels of the business

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, paying up to £70,000 base + benefits, with a requirement to work 3 days a week from our London office. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in finance systems, a solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles, and experience working closely with finance teams.
