Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Job Description:

A leading London Market Specialty Insurer is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their Finance Transformation Programme on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding and assessing the changing needs within the finance team, working closely with the finance team to bridge the gap between technical and finance teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise within the specialty insurance market and experience working closely with finance teams, preferably having previously been part of a finance transformation. The role requires 3 days a week working from the London office and offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000 base + benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the changing needs of the finance team and communicate requirements to different departments
  • Develop proposals and business cases for finance technology initiatives to help the organization achieve its goals
  • Document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to develop a change management/training plan
  • Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on a Finance Transformation Programme, ideally from the Lloyd's/London Market specialty insurance
  • Proven track-record in delivering complex finance-oriented technology implementation projects across vendor system implementation, integration, and custom build solutions
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Ability to influence and negotiate scope and finances
  • Strong relationship management skills across all levels of the business
