Job Title: Technical Business Analyst

Job Description:

Pioneer Search is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our client, a London Market Specialty Insurer, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Finance Transformation Programme, working closely with the finance team to understand and assess the changing needs within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the changing needs of the finance team and communicate requirements to different departments
  • Develop proposals and business cases for finance technology initiatives
  • Document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to develop a change management/training plan
  • Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on Finance Transformation Programmes, ideally in the Lloyd's/London specialty insurance
  • Proven track-record in delivering complex finance-oriented technology implementation projects
  • Knowledge of finance systems, finance function, accounting concepts, and principles
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Ability to influence and negotiate scope and finances
  • Strong relationship management skills across all levels of the business

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, paying up to £70,000 base + benefits, with a requirement to work 3 days a week from the London office. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in finance systems and a solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
