Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Pioneer Search. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our client's Agile driven transformation, working on PAS and claims solutions in the London Market.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day technical and business needs of the servicing platforms, ensuring seamless integration and configuration of the Sequel Product Suite. You will work closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and robust business user testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing high-quality analysis, adhering to required standards, processes, and governance
  • Clearly understanding processes from technical and user perspectives and their impact on the business
  • Working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into user stories
  • Ensuring robust business user testing is performed and signed off at the business and senior IT levels
  • Building new and maintaining existing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Business Analyst experience within specialty insurance, with a focus on Policy Admin and Claims Systems
  • Experience of delivering insurance products and knowledge of different product offerings and underwriting tools
  • Experience in data models, APIs, and SQL
  • Experience in Kanban and Scrum, as well as Agile methodology
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical thinking
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
