Technical Finance Business Analyst

A London Market Specialty Insurer is seeking a skilled Technical Finance Business Analyst to play a key role in their Finance Transformation Programme.
The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in finance systems, a solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles, and experience working closely with finance teams.
The role requires 3 days a week working from the company's London office and offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000 base + benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess the changing needs of the finance team and communicate requirements to different departments
- Develop proposals and business cases for finance technology initiatives
- Document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to develop a change management/training plan
- Review, maintain, and suggest modifications to current procedures and processes
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on Finance Transformation Programmes, ideally in the Lloyd's/London specialty insurance sector
- Proven track-record in delivering complex finance-oriented technology implementation projects
- Knowledge of finance systems, finance function, accounting concepts and principles
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies
- Ability to influence and negotiate scope and finances
- Strong relationship management skills across all levels of the business
