Business Banking Growth Manager

At OakNorth, we're on a mission to empower businesses with £1m-£100m in turnover to reach their growth ambitions. As an Associate Director for Business Banking, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our client base and deposit book at pace.
About the RoleYou'll be responsible for acquiring new Business Banking clients and fostering these relationships. As we continue to develop innovative banking solutions for mid-sized businesses, you'll grow client relationships to move their full transaction banking to OakNorth.
This role requires someone who is plugged into customer needs, highly commercial, and has an extensive network. Key qualities include an entrepreneurial mindset, a high-velocity approach, and a passion for supporting growing businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the deposit book of Business Banking through sourcing, acquiring, and onboarding new business customers to OakNorth.
- Grow revenue through expanding deposit-led relationships into full transaction banking relationships as the suite of Business Banking features develops.
- Represent and build the brand of OakNorth as a Business Banking provider, attending and hosting events and building relationships with external introducers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the business banking sector, leveraging insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with Key Business Introducers to generate Business Banking clients and grow the brand of OakNorth.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business to identify client opportunities to grow the suite of deposit and banking products.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a Business/Commercial Business Development role preferably within the UK financial services industry.
- A strong understanding of business banking products, payments systems, and digital banking trends.
- Demonstrated track record of deposit and revenue growth, building new and leveraging existing relationships and achieving business targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to harness client and colleague relationships to achieve business goals.
- £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
