We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Turning Point, a leading provider of substance misuse services in England and Wales.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly formed Mental Health Treatment Requirement (MHTR) team, providing psycho-social interventions to individuals in the criminal justice system. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists, providing clinical guidance and training to ensure the delivery of high-quality interventions.
You will work closely with the Clinical Lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist to develop and implement innovative approaches to psycho-social interventions, using standardized outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of Senior Assistant and Assistant Psychologists
- Provide clinical guidance and training to ensure the delivery of high-quality interventions
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to psycho-social interventions
- Use standardized outcome measures to evaluate effectiveness
- Work closely with the Clinical Lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist to develop and implement service improvements
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Registration with the Health and Social Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of leading and supervising clinical staff
- Experience of working with substance misuse service users
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
