Teacher of Autistic Pupils

Reeson Education is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a dynamic school in Hammersmith and Fulham for children with autism. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of professionals who are committed to providing high-quality education and support to children with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a mixed KS3 class of 8 pupils, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism. The pupils follow a semi-formal curriculum, and the teacher will be ably supported by a team of 3 TAs who are experienced and know the pupils, their routines, and needs.
The school uses a range of strategies to deliver its curriculum, including TEACCH, Total communication, and sensory integration approaches. Familiarity with these would be advantageous, though not essential, as SEN teacher training is available.
