Simplify your career path by becoming our Shared Services Community Developer at Simply Business As a key member of the Technical Operations team, you will play a crucial role in developing our comms and building our ShS community in line with our strategy.

As one of our Communications Partner, you'll create and execute the communication plans, aligned to the strategy, using a variety of innovative channels and tools that resonate with a tech audience working in a hybrid manner. You will craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate and build on the progress across the Shared Services and wider teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an external brand as an innovative InsureTech company utilising social media and events
  • Create and execute the communication plans, aligned to the strategy, using a variety of innovative channels and tools that resonate with a tech audience working in a hybrid manner
  • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate and build on the progress across the Shared Services and wider teams
  • Deliver communications expertise across the organisation, including individual coaching and consultation to drive improvements to comms
  • Presentation of communications strategies and results to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of communications efforts on the comms objectives

Compensation Package: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

  • Able to develop and implement impactful communication and marketing strategies for an insurtech company
  • An excellent writer with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels
  • Passionate about strategic storytelling and building strong tech identities
  • Both collaborative and team-oriented, whilst being able to work with senior stakeholders independently
  • A resourceful project manager with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously to deadline
  • Experienced with data analysis and performance tracking to deliver measurable impact
  • A proactive self-starter, full of creative ideas and a curiosity to try out new innovative approaches e.g. with AI
  • An adaptable collaborator who navigates dynamic situations with ease and thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented culture.
