Job Title: Service Development Officer

Job Summary:

  1. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Development Officer to join our Children's Services Commissioning team.
  2. As a Service Development Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our ambitious programme of service development, improvement, and innovation.
  3. You will provide project support across a range of portfolios, including social care, mental health, Special Education Needs, youth services, and early intervention/early help.
  4. Your work will cover our wide range of portfolios, and you will have the opportunity to develop in the commissioning space.

About the Role:

  1. As a Service Development Officer, you will work with our small, supportive, and highly motivated team to deliver an ambitious programme of service development, improvement, and innovation.
  2. You will support on a range of projects, working with lots of different people, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience.
  3. You will bring a mix of professional curiosity and a focus on driving real improvement in the work that you do.
  4. You will see the value in partnership working and engaging with young people and residents who access our offer.
