About the Role
Compass Changing Lives is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Duty Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative service that delivers evidenced-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily oversight of the duty system, including clinical and safeguarding decision-making, safety planning, and risk assessment oversight. They will also be responsible for supporting the development and management of the MHST/EITTS duty system and working alongside the Operations Manager, Clinical Operations Team, and Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of the duty system, including clinical and safeguarding decision-making, safety planning, and risk assessment oversight.
- Support the development and management of the MHST/EITTS duty system.
- Work alongside the Operations Manager, Clinical Operations Team, and Team Lead to ensure the effective delivery of services.
- Develop and deliver innovative methods to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and families.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a core professional and/or clinical qualification, such as EMHP, CWP, PMHW, nursing with a specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work. They will also have evidence of continued professional development and two years post-qualification experience of working therapeutically with children and young people.
