Head of Legal Practice

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain all internal compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective compliance training programs for staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining compliance.
- Monitor and report on compliance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Head of Conveyancing and Directors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a strong compliance culture within the firm.
- Oversee the development and implementation of lead generation and service advertisements, ensuring they comply with CLC marketing requirements.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years of PQE.
- Proven experience in a compliance role, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Ability to analyze complex compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
