Job Title: Head of Legal Practice

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain all internal compliance policies and the overall Compliance Plan, incorporating any changes into the firm's procedures.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of all regulatory and other compliance changes, training staff on compliance and client-facing quality of service to ensure service levels are met.
  • Oversee and sign off all lead generation and service advertisements to ensure all relevant CLC marketing requirements are met.
  • Deliver presentations to staff and provide comprehensive reporting to the Management Team of the Group.
Requirements:
  • Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years PQE.
  • At least two years of experience in a compliance role working in a legal practice dealing with client complaints, KYC and money laundering procedures, and firm-wide risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and ensure the ongoing compliance health of the firm.
