Job Title: Head of Legal Practice

Jameson Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal Practice to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance with the terms and conditions of our CLC authorisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures to ensure the firm's ongoing SRA authorisation.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including client complaints, KYC and money laundering procedures, and firm-wide risk assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to the Management Team on the status of the firm's compliance arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Conveyancing and Directors to create and implement internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Deliver presentations to staff and provide training on compliance and client-facing quality of service.
Requirements:
  • Must be a qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with at least 6 years PQE.
  • Experience in a compliance role within a legal practice, dealing with client complaints, KYC and money laundering procedures, and firm-wide risk assessments.
  • Strong understanding of transparency rules, compliant advertising, and lead generation.
  • Ability to work well with others to create a collaborative and nurturing work environment.
