Job Title: Arts Administrator

Location: London, UK

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join Shakespeare's Globe as an Arts Administrator. As a key member of the Education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to support the Education department with administrative tasks, data entry, and event planning. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Excel, and be able to maintain accurate records and data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Education team with administrative tasks, including email management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  2. Support the team with data entry on relevant booking systems.
  3. Help plan and coordinate events, including workshops, courses, and projects.
  4. Maintain accurate records and data, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to visitors, schools, and Freelancers.

Requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with the arts and theatre industry, although not essential.
