Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the HR Director to manage their calendar, schedule meetings, and organize appointments
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including document preparation, managing mailboxes, and handling correspondence
  • Manage employee files, ensuring accuracy, up-to-dateness, and secure storage
  • Utilize the HRIS system to maintain accurate employee records, process HR transactions, and generate reports
  • Assist with administrative aspects of employee relations, including preparing documentation, organizing meetings, and maintaining records
  • Support the management of maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave, including processing applications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters, organizing induction schedules, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an HR department is essential
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), specifically Cascade, is required
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is desirable
Skills and Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:
  • 35 hours per week
  • 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
  • 2 days WFH
