We are seeking a highly skilled Clerical Assistant 2 to join our team at the Highland Council. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of clerical duties associated with Civic Government and non-liquor licence applications.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Access databases, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £23,500 - £24,500 per annum. Please note that salary placement will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To provide administrative support to various departments within the council, with a focus on short-term let licensing applications.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Access databases

Working Conditions: The post involves working in an office environment with frequent contact with colleagues and the public.
