Hotel Receptionist

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Manage reservations and ensure accuracy of booking information
- Operate the hotel switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate department
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Maintain a neat and tidy reception area
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other language
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A friendly and welcoming demeanour with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.90 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 48 per week
