Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join our Central CAMHS team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board NHS. The successful candidate will have a significant role in undertaking assessments and providing evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families.

Main Duties:
  • Undertake assessments to identify mental health needs.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy techniques.
  • Care Coordinate and supervise colleagues within the multidisciplinary team.
Person Specification:
  • A recognised core profession such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology.
  • Clinical Masters degree or equivalent educational or experience indicating performance at masters level.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Providing focused Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies.
Desirable Skills:

Welsh language skills are desirable for this role.
